Our city has been portrayed on screen many times, but it’s not always necessarily something to be proud of. Bad accents and Voodoo cliches abound in the most cringe-inducing versions of New Orleans on screen, and this week we take a look at the worst offenders. I should tell you that upon reading about the worst representations of NOLA in the media, I immediately added "Mardi Gras Massacre" to my watch list.
Yes, K-ville was laughably bad.
But, Treme? Come on!! That show ruled! John Goodman! Steve Zahn! David Simon! C'mon!!
