So as you might have noticed, sometimes life means that new editions of OAD come out on a Thursday - I’d love this to be my main job, but alas, sometimes I have to make rent. If I miss an issue completely, rest assured I’m having a stressful time of it, and not lounging by a pool with a stiff drink. Speaking of which, this time we round up a few new/newish places to knock back your cocktails of choice. We also review the musical The View From UpStairs, which tells the story of the tragic French Quarter bar fire of 1973, and local author Leon Blanda looks back at AMC’s 2022 show, Interview With The Vampire: a nice companion piece to last week’s look at NOLA media. All of this, plus special dinners, events and offers in the News section, and of course your seven-day cultural highlights in the Diary (including Hispanic Heritage Month events, NOLA Arts Festival, NOLA East Festival and both the city’s first Coffee AND Ice Cream Festivals).
Click here for all of this and more in this week’s Out All Day: New Orleans.
Have a fun and safe week whatever you’re up to, and see you next time (when I will finish the K-Ville pilot deep dive!). As always, much love to you and yours.
